Apply for your HDB and or bank loan before committing to a unit. Ensure that you qualify for a loan and set a budget in mind.

Check on the Ethnic Integration policy.

Estimated valuation of the unit.

Research on past transactions of the area using HDB Map services to get a feel of past selling price of the area.
